The terms and conditions governing use of Craft Beer Collective.
Last updated: 28 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Craft Beer Collective website and marketplace, operated by Craft Beer Collective Ltd ("Craft Beer Collective", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, browsing our site, or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Craft Beer Collective is a marketplace that connects independent bottle shops across the UK ("Shops") with customers who want to buy craft beer online. We provide the platform that lets Shops list their products and customers place orders; the Shops themselves are responsible for fulfilling those orders.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, browse our beer listings, or place an order. By using Craft Beer Collective, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We and our delivery partners may carry out age verification checks, including at the point of delivery, and reserve the right to refuse delivery if we're not satisfied the recipient is 18 or over.
To place an order or list a shop, you'll need to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please let us know straight away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy from the relevant Shop, which they can accept or decline (for example, if an item is out of stock). Prices shown include any fees stated at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order, using the payment method you provide. We use a third-party payment processor to handle card payments securely — we don't store your full card details ourselves.
Estimated delivery windows are shown based on the Shop's opening hours and your delivery address. Express delivery is offered by participating Shops within their local delivery radius, subject to order cut-off times. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by factors outside our control.
Because alcohol is a perishable, age-restricted product, once a Shop has confirmed and begun preparing your order it may not be possible to cancel. If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us or the Shop directly within a reasonable time so we can help put things right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you list a shop with us, you confirm that you hold any licences required to sell alcohol, that the information you provide about your shop and products is accurate, and that you'll fulfil orders placed through the platform in a timely manner. We offer different listing plans (Starter, Standard, and Premium), each with different features and visibility; current pricing is shown on our pricing page. We may suspend or remove a shop listing that breaches these terms, misrepresents its products, or fails to fulfil orders reliably.
You agree not to:
If you leave a review or submit other content through the platform, you confirm it's honest, accurate, and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content that we reasonably believe is false, abusive, or breaches these terms.
The Craft Beer Collective name, logo, and site design are our property or used under licence, and may not be copied or used without our permission. Shops retain ownership of the product content and images they upload, and grant us a licence to display them on the platform.
We provide the marketplace platform "as is" and work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Since your contract for beer purchased through the site is with the relevant Shop, we're not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of products sold by Shops, though we'll do what we reasonably can to help resolve issues raised with us. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if we suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity, or if we reasonably need to for the security of the platform. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our service or the law. We'll post any changes on this page and update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use Craft Beer Collective after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
